Muscle fatigue causes the foot to collapse and lengthen, and the metas to widen. We have taken these phenomena into account when designing this new range of socks with the athletes of Team Sidas Matryx. Thanks to the Ultra Fit technology, the Trail Ultra socks act like an exoskeleton to compensate for the consequences of muscular fatigue of the foot during an ultra trail.
The Trail Ultra sock includes all the features of the perfect ultra trail sock: strappings in the heel and metas to prevent injury and fatigue, combined with optimal breathability of the foot to avoid the accumulation of sweat and a wide toe box to support the lengthening of your foot during the race.
Two non-slip grip strips have been integrated into the sock to improve sock/sole synergy, as well as an integrated ankle guard and In&Out construction for better sole contact and feel. Finally, benefit from a reflective strip in the sock for increased visibility when running at night.
The socks also offer optimal moisture and odour management thanks to Polygiene technology. This treatment, which uses naturally occurring silver salt microparticles, prevents bacteria from spreading and growing, reducing odours from strenuous activity.
The socks stay fresh and last longer (guaranteed to last at least 100 washes). Polygiene fibres have been tested by laboratories and are completely safe for the skin.
